About the role
Litsey Heating and Air is hiring a Lead HVAC Installer to run a 2–3 person residential installation crew across Louisville and Bullitt County. You own each job from tearing out the old system through startup: keeping the crew organized, holding the installation to our standard, talking plainly with the homeowner, and leaving the home cleaner than you found it. We’re veteran-owned, family-run, and have served Louisville since 1975 — the work is steady and the standard is high.
What you’ll do
- Lead and work alongside a residential installation crew on full system change-outs
- Install Goodman and Amana split systems, heat pumps, furnaces, coils and line sets
- Coordinate teardown, installation, startup and final jobsite cleanup on every job
- Keep the crew organized, on schedule, and installing to code and to spec
- Communicate clearly with customers before, during and after the install
What you’ll need
- Current Kentucky journeyman HVAC mechanic license
- Strong hands-on residential installation experience
- Experience leading a 2–3 person installation crew
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
- Ability to pass a background check
Nice to have
- EPA Section 608 certification
- HVAC service and troubleshooting experience
- Familiarity with Housecall Pro
Pay & benefits
- $60,000 – $70,000 per year, based on experience
